Our film so far (draft)

This is our film so far, this is our draft, despite the fact that we don't have any sound yet. I have made an ident called Magnetic Productions, I made this with photoshop, Charlie later edited it in using premier Pro. I quite like the titles and font in the first few cuts of the film, they have metallic look about them. I do feel that the titles need further editing thought, because some of the words aren't aligned. For example 'Magnetic Productions' magnetic isnt completely aligned in the middle on top of the production title, it needs to be exactly in the middle, to make it looks like a suitable title. The title then fades into an establishing shot of JJ lying on the floor. After this establishing shot, the film title comes on, however I feel that the title should come before the establishing shot because it could confuse the audience. The tittle JJ then fades into a close up of JJ's hand and phone ringing. You can clearly see that the phone is ringing with the words mum on the phone as it rings. This shot then fades into the next shot, of JJ slowly opening his eyes. This is my favorite shot out of all the shots that we filmed, because, it shows the the mise en scene and the make up on his face that instantly makes us feel sorry for him because he is injured. The next shot, is of JJ standing up, using the bars behind him to help himself up. As he is getting up there are a few dissolved editing which means that one part of his fades and another figure of himself fades into another place. Once JJ has got up he walks over and picks up his phone of the ground, this is a low angle shot. After this he walks past the camera and carries on walking up the walk. Once again, we used dissolved editing, this shows the passing of time. Once we have the sound the film should be a lot better.
