Our Character-JJ

This is what JJ stereotypically looks like.  He follows a certain trend of clothing and listens to a certain type of music. The photo on the left is Skepta (a popular grime artist) and a few friends posing for a photo, this is what JJ stereotypically looks like and listens too. Skepta grew up in a rough background and made his way up to becoming very affluent and prosperous.
The black clothing that the people are wearing in this photograph is what we have made Theo to wear, who is playing the role of JJ. This clothing is associated roadmans.

This is similar to what JJ is wearing, it is mostly dark clothing, hats, hoods, long trousers, a dark?black jacket. As you can see in the photo, he is mostly covered up with clothing.
Opening sequence: Genre

Our opening sequence is a drama/adventure film. The reason for it this is because our film is based on drugs, and people of a working class and the struggle with life.  The adventure part is the enigmas and the un certainty of why JJ is left beaten up near a bush in a rural area.  There is a dilemma, a problem and JJ is caught up in this mess. I've done some research, one film that resembles with our film is Trainspotting's. There is a comparison with our film and Trainspotting's plot. I read the IMDb website on Trainspotting the film. This is what it reads:

"Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor), a young man with few prospects and fewer ambitions, lives in economically depressed Edinburgh. Like most of his friends, Renton is a heroin addict who loves the drug's blissful nothingness; financing his habit also provides excitement and challenges that his life otherwise lacks. Renton's two best friends are also junkies: Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), a snappy dresser obsessed with James Bond, and Spud (Ewan Bremner), a guileless nerd who suggests Pee Wee Herman's debauched cousin. Renton and his pals also hang out with Begbie (Robert Carlyle), a borderline psychotic who loathes junkies even though he drinks like a fish. After one too many brushes with the law, Renton kicks heroin and moves to London, where he finds a job, a flat, and something close to peace of mind. However, Sick Boy, Begbie, and Spud all arrive at his doorstep on the trail of a big score, leading Renton back into drugs and crime.~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide" -IMDb Trainspotting (1996) Summary

JJ and 'Mark Renton' both have similarities. They both have a working class background. JJ hasn't been doing well at school, and Mark Renton doesn't have many ambitions. They are both living in a rough area. JJ had taken some drugs the night before he had woken up beaten up in a field, Mark is also involved in drugs, in particular he is a heroin addict.
Opening sequence with audio

This is our opening sequence with audio. I think the audio and strings fits well with your filming and editing. I do think that the Iphone ringtone in the film is too long and too pure, it ringtone should be muffled as if it was on the ground. We are also yet to put some bird sounds throughout the film in particular when he is opening his eyes. We need to edit a few things out as well, we were told that some titles are too long. The film is only 1:32 minutes long, which is 30 seconds short of two minutes. Two minutes is the minimum time we need for the opening sequence. We have decided to add some additional shots into the first few shots, these shots will include of more shots of the landscape, in other words more establishing shots. This should hopefully put some more time onto our opening sequence. These establishing shots would include of shots of our setting, perhaps the sea, the forest, the hills.
